FALLKILL
A historic 1780 farmhouse, fully renovated and restored to balance original character with contemporary living. The project honors the intimacy and craftsmanship of the original home while introducing a light-filled addition with an open kitchen, dining, and living area connected to a wraparound deck.
Restored details, including the original staircase and exposed brick, anchor the home in its history. Lime-washed surfaces, handmade zellige tile, patinated brass fixtures, and natural finishes were selected to feel timeless and to age gracefully over time.
Set on 2.9 acres with an original barn, stone walls, outbuildings, and a seasonal stream, the home reflects a distinctly Hudson Valley approach to preservation, landscape, and modern life.
